“Well, I am Dr. Francisco Gonzalez, I am a general surgeon, laparoscopic and bariatric surgeon since 1996. I am general surgeon since 1990, I went to medical school in Guadalajara, Universidad el Guadalajara and I did my post grad from Guadalajara as well and after that I traveled to Europe and South America for my training in bariatric surgery. I have been in Santiago Chile, University of Catolica, Chile to do Gastric Bypass and then I went to Spain for Gastric Bypass as well and do a Gastric Sleeve.

Then I came here in Tijuana, worked 17 years in the General Hospital of Tijuana and they started to develop laparoscopic surgery in 1991, then in 1996 we started with the obesity program.”
